Remove the extra “Array” word from the Homepage

It was found that there is an extra word “Array” showing up on the top of Newsroom section (3-card section that includes University News, Interviews, TCM & Acupuncture Blog) That word was found created from shortcode. It’s later on fixed by WPOS.

Limit homepage editing only to specific users

To better maintain homepage editing, limit editing feature only to pre-specified users. Exclude users even with “admin” user role. Implement custom codes to restrict users who can edit homepage to only a group of pre-defined users. It was implemented first on the dev site (4/10/2024), then main site (4/11/2024).

Security: Schedule malware scan for once a week

Currently the malware scan is set on the 21st of the month. But for many websites it may require higher frenquency of scanning than that. It was found on 4/3/2024 that this dev website was down. And the scanned ressults from ImunifyAV showed a couple infected files. After the infected files being removed, the website was still down. Reported to Liquid Web and its Server Secure Plus team to fix the issue. The website was up and running on 4/5/2024. … Read more

Resolve main website down issue

It was found on 4/2/2024 that the main website was down. And the scanned ressults from ImunifyAV showed a couple infected files. After the infected files being removed, the website was still down. Ask Liquid Web tech support to restore the website from the 4/1/2024 backup version.
