Select and set up cookie related plugin that complies to GDPR requirements
Select a plugin and install / test it on the website. Evaluated on “Cookie Notice For GDPR & CCPA” plugin first. Switched to “Complete GDPR / AVG / CCPA Cookie Compliance WordPress plugin”. Tested on the developing website first. Installed and activated on the production website on 2/21/2023.
Housekeeping on temporary or unused websites on the server
There are several temporary / unused websites that were set up while updating / archiving the production site with the new design site. In addition, with the after restructuring existing websites, the temporary / intermediate website(s) should be removed as well. The following websites were removed: tracking.fivebranches.edu2 alumni.fivebranches.edu2 fbu.fivebranches.edu test.fivebranches.org
Restructure eva.study.fivebranches.edu site to eva.fivebranches.edu site
Currently, eva.study.fivebranches.edu site is a subdomain website of study.fivebranches.edu site. Rename it to eva.fivebranches.edu, and Restructure it to be a subdomain website of www.fivebranches.edu site.
Apply Google Custom Search Engine to www.fivebranches.edu site
Current www.fivebranches.edu site is updated from dev site content. But the search feature on the production should be serviced by Google Custom Search Engine (CSE) Change current WordPress search to Google CSE. Search results should be displayed as regular Google CSE display format.
Update old site with new dev site and rename old site

Encounter SQL Error message when adding a new Faculty member It was found that there was a mismatched parameter pair in the SQL statement for adding a new record. After fixing the pair, problem solved.
